One Hour Computers is a series of timed oil paintings made over the course of her nine month artist residency and teaching fellowship at the Los Angeles Public Library's Cypress Park Branch. Painting from life, Herzog sat down at the one hour reservation computers in the library and painted for exactly one hour.
